Los Congos is Getting Bigger & Better!
Recent Property Acquisition Makes for a Bigger & Better Los Congos Community!
The staff at Laguna, S.A. would like to formally announce the acquistion of approximately 235 acres of new property, directly adjacent to Los Congos proper! This new property is currently being called "San Primo" but will become part of the resort community we are developing.
The property spans from the waters of Laguna de Apoyo all the way to the rim of laguna. This acquisition brings the total land area to over 550 contiguous acres of pristine, gorgeous property which will become part of the Los Congos Eco-Resort Community. Within the property is an additional 1 kilometer of waterfront, incredible trees, nice level shelves along the ridge and many natural springs. After planning has been performed this property will be available for all residents of Los Congos to enjoy.
The primary goal with the new property is to increase our preservation area, which will now consist of approximately 200 or more acres to be placed within a Preservation Foundation, never to be developed. In addition there are some working organic farm areas of the San Primo parcel which we plan to expand on to provide organic fruits and vegetables for all of the restaurants within Los Congos. We will also use these areas to grow ornamental plants and trees for our reforestation efforts within the development. Sustainability is our goal.
What does this mean for owners and investors?
For those who have already invested in Los Congos it means that you are likely going to see increased returns on your investments and home values. This additional property will add additional future phases of development, which in turn creates natural price increases. It also has basically doubled the amount of "green" or common space for you and your friends and family to enjoy within the development.
For those who have not yet purchased a lot or home package this is your signal to purchase now. There is still plenty of time to "get in early". The first movers will always make the best returns in a development project of this magnitude. Currently there are lots on a beautiful ridge overlooking Laguna de Apoyo with easy access to the water and future amenities, but these will not last long.
One key factor with purchasing the San Primo property was to have availability to the land which the road accesses Los Congos. By purchasing this property we now have control over the the land around the road. This will allow us to better plan our infrastructure, storm drainage and possibly expand the road width in the future.
This is a very positive thing for Los Congos!
